MSA Standard, Lightweight Carbon Cylinders (SuperLite Cylinders) are a staple in the Fire Service. The cylinder is wound thousands of times with high-strength carbon fibers impregnated with epoxy resin. A final overwrap of fiberglass fibers enhances abrasion resistance. Then, a glow-in-the-dark luminescent band is applied for improved night visibility.

Quick-Connect Remote Connection
The Quick-Connect option is available for rapid, quick changing of cylinders. The Quick-Connect Cylinders come with an installed adapter to easily push to connect with the remote handwheel.
Locking Handwheel
The Locking handwheel locks when the cylinder valve is in an open position. It requires only a simple turning motion of the handwheel to open the cylinder, but to close the cylinder valve the user must pull the handwheel outward and then turn to close.
