Industrial Firefighting for Municipal Firefighters

Prepares municipal firefighters for responses to a wide range of industrial fires, where conditions will be much different from residential or commercial fires. Due to advances in automation and reductions in industrial fire brigades in some manufacturing sectors, it is likely that municipal firefighters will respond alone or in an assist capacity to industrial facilities due to fires, accidents, or terrorist events.
