Fire Ready Enterprise Fire Rescue Webbing

Fire Ready's FRE Fire Rescue Webbing has been thoughtfully designed to incorporate technical rescue aspects into a fire service personal webbing. Combined with a carabiner, the universal webbing can be an open or closed loop system without having to tie a knot. The center has a sewn in tab marked with white reflective to enable the webbing to be passed through for a girth hitch or used as an attachment point with a carabiner. All stitching has been manufacture tested to ensure every configuration is strong and reliable.

  • 15 ft. overall length of 1 in. tubular webbing
  • Size when rolled up: 4 in. W X 6 in. H X 1 in. thick. 
  • Weight with band: 8.5 oz.
  • Tensile Strength = Lbf 4615 (Pounds of Force)  Manufacturer Spec*
  • (2) 8 in. loops sewn on both ends.
    • Manufacture tested to 4,000 lbs. breaking strength.
    • Loops are designed to be large enough for gloved hand use.
  • (2) Sets of double Tabs
    • Manufacture tested to 1,000 lbs. breaking strength per tab.
    • Tabs are large enough to pass 1 in. webbing through for girth hitch.
  • (1) Center Tab
    • Manufacture tested to 1,000 lbs. breaking strength.
    • Marked with high visibility reflective Cordura material.
  • Made in the USA

Examples of Different Uses:

  • General use: Same as with any other webbing tied with a water knot.
    • Open 15 ft. webbing and carabiner to quickly secure tools or hose to be hoisted up to the single story roof or second floor stairwell or window. No need for work rope and knots.
  • Secure portable standpipe: Girth hitch supply hose and wrap handrail/anchor using carabiner or clove hitch.
  • Secure ladder for climbing: Girth hitch base providing up to 14 ft. to reach a tie off point using clove hitch, tensionless wrap with carabiner, loop and secure to sewn tabs with carabiner.
  • Downed Firefighter removal: Many variations with tabs, end loops, and carabiner.
