Danner 8 in. Rough-Out Wildland Tactical Firefighter Boots
Lightweight and as supportive as the alpine hiker, Danner's 8 in. Rough-Out Wildland Tactical Firefighter Boots meet the standards of other NFPA-certified boots. The upper is designed with high-quality leather and chemically treated for fire resistance, while the oil and slip-resistant Vibram S587 Fire & Ice Outsoles meet OSHA safety standards, consists of non-conductive material to degate electrical hazards, survive in extreme temperatures, and offer better grip on rugged or high-angle terrain.
Wildland firefighters need optimal stability and rigidity underfoot, and the WTF Platform Construction provides that with a full-length polypropylene board combined with an integrated sheel shank. These wildland fire boots are handmade in Portland, Oregon using rough-out leather with a breathable mesh lining and a reinforced opanka-stitch construction to create the best bond possible between the outsole and upper.
These wildland firefighter boots come in extended sizes to accommodate as many foot sizes as possible. Women are recommended to order 1.5 to 2 full sizes less than their usual for a proper fit.
