CMC ProSteel™ Carabiners
CMC ProSteel Carabiners are NFPA General Use certified and have a carbon steel body with a high breaking strength. Certain models are also ANSI certified and include a reinforced gate for lateral stress, as indicated. CMC ProSteel Carabiners, with a keylock system, wide gate opening, glove-friendly sleeve, and burnished finish, are built for heavy duty work in harsh environments while remaining easy to handle for everyday applications. Gray is now available with a new Zinc-Nickel treatment that provides double the corrosion resistance of the previous black plating (test conducted in salt spray according to UNI EN ISO 9227), greater scratch resistance, longer life, a more uniform and modern finish, and less friction on cords and textile devices.
