CMC Fulcrum Escape Belt
Adaptable, dependable, and equipped for the fire scene. The Fulcrum Escape Belt is a low-profile, NFPA-rated that blends easy-to-use steel gear with fire-resistant Kevlar web. The Fulcrum is unobtrusive and stays out of the way until needed thanks to its sleek, contemporary appearance.
The Fulcrum is fashioned from a 1.75" black Kevlar web that slides easily between corrosion-resistant steel buckles, making it lighter and more comfortable than previous models. It is simple to adjust and maintains its fit while in use. A Web Keeper fixes the extra tail and stops slipping. A belt's precise construction avoids stiff web points and shields the adjuster buckle from twists, folds, and snags.
The bartack stitch design offers a superior appearance and feel, and the contrast between the thread colors makes it easier to check for wear. The Fulcrum is easily put on by wrapping jackets or turnout belt loops. With gloved hands, a steel snap-hook closure system is quick, reliable, and simple to use. The Fulcrum may be turned for right or left-hand opening/closing and adjustment thanks to symmetrical components.
There are two distinct sets of D-Ring attachment sites for the Fulcrum. A personal escape system like the LEVR Escape System can be connected to the sliding D model. This D-Ring is attached to the escape mechanism by being kept to the side by a Velcro keeper. The Sliding D releases from its keeper and slides to the body's center to aid descent when the mechanism is engaged. The Fixed D/Sliding D model improves the belt's utility and adaptability. A rated, load-bearing connection point for attaching technical equipment and carrying out rescue operations is made available by adding the Fixed D-Ring.
