Globe Technical 10" Women's Zipper/Speed Lace Boots With Arctic Grip
These Globe Technical 10” Women’s Zipper/Speed Lace Boots are made in the USA and are quad-certified to meet NFPA standards 1977 (Wildland), 1951 (Technical Rescue), 1992 (Liquid Splash), and 1999 (Emergency Medical). These technical boots also have a VIBRAM Arctic Grip Outsole that gives them double the grip on wet ice when compared to other industry leaders and remains flexible in temperatures as low as -40°F/-40°C.
The interior of these boots consists of a full-height liner of Omaha fabric, 300g insulation, and one layer of waterproof but breathable GORE CROSSTECH material. Stay comfortable all day with the removable dual-density footbeds that contour to comfortably cushion your foot and support your arches. These footbeds are topped with an antimicrobial, moisture-wicking fabric layer.
QuickZip Closure
These boots combine the convenience of a zip up boot with the customized fit of a lace up boot.
VIBRAM Contoured Outsole and Toe Bumper
VIBRAM, a temperature and abrasion-resistant compound, makes up the outsole and toe bumper of these technical boots.
Built like Athletic Shoes
Similar to athletic footwear design, these technical boots feature a 2-part cross-linking adhesive bonding the outsoles to the upper.
Protective Composite Material
A flexible, durable composite material makes up the lasting board, heel counters, shin guards, shanks, and safety toe caps to keep your feet safe from cuts, punctures, abrasions, and extreme cold or heat.
Metatarsal Guard
A lightweight, flexible, and impact-resistant PORON XRD foam provides additional protection for the bones that extend back from your toes and over the instep.
NOMEX Boot Straps
Made of reinforced leather NOMEX, these straps make it easier to pull these technical boots under your turnouts and won’t rub your legs raw.
Better Grip
The bottoms of these boots have siping, or small slits in the soles, that improve tread on wet or icy grounds and aid stability while performing ladder work.
