Designed to enhance the rapid attachment of supply lines and improve inter-operability among responding agencies, hydrant Storz adapters easily and permanently attach to the threaded hydrant discharge port. The adapter and cap are manufactured from hard anodized cast aluminum alloy for years of rugged use. The adapter includes a Storz lock, set screws to secure adapter to hydrant, and a hole to install an anti-tamper device. Adapter and cap meet NFPA 1963 and 1965 900psi hydrostatic testing.
