Mastering The CPAT
Provides information needed to prepare for and pass the CPAT. Outlines the principles of designing and implementing an effective training program, including physical testing, nutrition, fitness concepts, and mental focusing techniques. Also explains the development of the test, including the role that the CPAT plays in the Wellness Fitness Initiative.
Each event of the CPAT is broken down into a separate module, allowing a focus on learning, practicing, and excelling in the individual techniques that will lead to success on the final test. Various methods and programs are outlined for those who face time constraints or may not have access to traditional exercise equipment. Each chapter contains a "Performance Planning Chart" to enable development of step-by-step, customized training plans to suit individual needs.
