Globe Men's SHADOW XF 14 in. Pull-On Structural Boots with Arctic Grip
Enjoy twice the slip-resistance on wet ice with these Globe Men’s SHADOW XF 14 in. Pull-On Structural Boots. The VIBRAM Arctic Grip on the bottom can not only improve your grip on slick ground, but remain flexible in environments up to 40°F/-40°C. The specially softened leather used to build these boots resists both water and flame while also staying flexible in key flex areas.
The interior of these firefighter boots are lined with full-height Omaha fabric, 300g insulation, and waterproof but breathable GORE CROSSTECH material. An extra layer of KEVLAR material resists cuts and offers thermal protection. Your heel will stay secure and stable while your ankle remains cushioned with the built-in HEELPORT Internal Fit System.
Protective Composite Materials
A durable composite material makes up the lasting board, safety toe cap, shanks, heel counters, and shin guards. This material won’t transmit heat or cold and resists cuts, punctures, and abrasions.
Dual-Density 3D-Molded Footbed System
From your arches to your heels and toes, these boots have two layers of foam for a more comfortable contoured fit. The top layer consists of a moisture-wicking and antimicrobial fabric.
Athletic Shoe Construction
These structural firefighting boots are built similarly to athletic footwear with a 2-part cross-linking adhesive bonding the uppers and outsoles.
Toe Bumper and Contoured Cup Outsole Made of VIBRAM
VIBRAM compound makes up the toe bumper and outsole of these boots, resisting abrasions and the effects of extreme temperatures.
Leather-Reinforced NOMEX Straps
Strong and durable, the straps on these boots are made of NOMEX. You can easily slip these straps up under your turnouts, and your legs won’t get irritated from them.
Improved Tread
These boots have siping, or thin slits in the soles, that provide a better grip on icy or wet terrain.
